Who could be a Volunteer | Sponsor?

  • Someone who has an interest in social connect.
  • Willing to help needy children — whose parents are struggling to keep them in school.
  • Volunteers invest their time to find a needy child, get the data from the institution and upload it to Go-Beyond, where Sponsors can support a child selected from the list. Sponsors make payment directly to the institution and get a receipt.

The process to support needy children

  • Verify the child is needy, and verify the genuineness of the institution.
  • Make payment directly to the school for the child through online banking (after confirming the institution’s bank details, ideally with a small test transfer).
  • Sponsors can support one or many children.
  • An online report for the Volunteer and Sponsor with all details, including the children supported and the payments made.

What’s next

  • Children’s progress is uploaded by the Volunteer or the Institutional Volunteer.
  • Sponsors can see their children’s progress and the next financial year’s outlook, to decide on continuing support.
  • Supported children are reserved in the Sponsor’s name for 30 days from the date Go-Beyond intimates them, for renewal of support.
